Worship at Calvary Lutheran

Worship is the one eternal work of the Church.  As God’s people worship they join a continual chorus of angelic choirs, the prayers of God’s people throughout the ages and His people all over the world who call on Him at the same time.  Almighty God is worthy of His creation’s praise! Acts of mercy and compassion, service, giving, evangelism – whatever the Church does in addition to worship - will cease when Jesus returns to bring His anxious bride to the place prepared for us in heaven.  For all eternity God’s people will offer joyful praise to their Savior and King.  At Calvary our goal is to offer worship befitting a holy God Who draws near to us as His beloved children.  We draw near to Him believing He will receive our praises and hear the prayers we offer in the name of Jesus, His Son and our Savior. We enter His presence trusting His desire to speak to us individually and corporately.  We depend on Him to work miracles and life changing deeds among us.
