Who is God and how can I know He is real?

God is the loving Creator of all that exists.  He spoke the world into existence with the simple words 'Let there be'.  The artistry, intricacy, and balance of creation testify to the Creator's handiwork.  Nothing as varied and complex as the many forms of life could exist by chance or accident.  When we view a painting we never wonder if there was an artist.  When look at a skyscraper we never wonder if there was an architect and builders. The evidence for God's existence and His genius are overwhelming.  Everything necessary to sustain life comes from His hand as well.  Man and woman are the pinnacle of His creation, made in His own image and created to be in relation to Him as dearly loved children.
