Music and Praise

With sins forgiven our hearts abound with joy and our voices burst forth with songs of praise, led by musicians and singers.  The faster songs of praise we begin with gradually give way to slower songs in which we seek to enter ‘the Holy of holies’, the place of intimate fellowship with God’s Spirit.  We pause for a time of silence, affording Him the opportunity to speak to us through prophecy or another of His gifts.  These are often very rich experiences in which the congregation senses God’s nearness and is greatly encouraged by what is shared.
