Calvary Lutheran is a Spirit-filled Christian congregation and we believe in the Triune God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The FATHER is Creator and Sustainer of all life. The SON, Jesus, as true God and true Man, died and rose again to redeem us from our sin and to give us new life. The HOLY SPIRIT creates faith in us by giving us the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and sustains that faith and renews our hearts.
We believe the Bible is the true and inspired Word of God. God has given us the Sacraments, Baptism and Holy Communion, to sustain our fellowship with Him and to receive His forgiveness for our sins. Prayer, worship and regular use of the Word and Sacraments will help us keep a close personal relationship with God.
All the spiritual gifts (listed in Romans Chapter 12 and I Corinthians Chapter 12) are available today for the use of all Christians and for the glory of God. A person may be secure in the assurance of eternal life with God by believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
